Forget Movember...
After criticising windows adverts in recent weeks, this is a far cry from the earlier advert - an advert which annoyed me more than the GO Compare advert.

Stump up....
As with any saturday, I went to watch my team play but this week was different. On arriving early, did we go to the pub and watch the sky sports game? NO. Instead we climbed 'Boston Stump'.
To climb the stairs of this building, you pay a small donation (minimum £3 adults - £1 under 18s). There are 209 steps to one platform, and another 157 when the spire is fully open.
But the real reason Im writing this blog is they should of entitled the dull drab donation box.....
STUMP UP
I definately think they missed a trick...
Flown to me from heaven....
Spotted this outside a Nottingham studio close to the station and River. Its one of many great pieces of art on that building. Some of the graffiti was superb but probably not appropiate for this blog.
Anyway... this could either be an incredibly subtle piece of marketing or just something that looks good. If it is the latter then they should really be pushing the idea that anything amazing can be achieved in their studios.... including making pigs fly
Ask Jeeves
Whilst not a convential form of advertising, I think this works really well given its target audience and location.
Effectively you can select places you want to visit on a map (Im guessing the service is paid by these places) and then your route/night out is plannes and you can order a taxi via the board.
Manchester gets a huge number of tourists and printworks also gets a high volume of locals coming every night, therefore this is a great way to get noticed
Forget about the price tag...
This is an advert for Midland Train and features on every one of their fleet* (*well all 3 that ive been on) and I was particularly impressed by the art feautured.
The idea of combining the ridged edge of a coin and a train track really works in grabbing peoples attention.
